Senior Software Engineer (Product Development)

Location: Remote — Europe-friendly hours
Full-time

We're looking for an experienced engineer to design, build and support production software. You'll own product features, improve existing codebases and work directly with product and client teams.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement backend services, APIs and data models for production products.
  • Own features end to end and collaborate with frontend engineers and designers.
  • Improve existing codebases through focused modernization work.
  • Work directly with product and client teams to clarify requirements and unblock delivery.
  • Ship production-quality code with unit, integration and end-to-end tests.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years building backend systems with Python, Go, Java or Node.
  • Experience shipping customer-facing product features and dependable APIs.
  • Familiarity with reliable application delivery and production observability.
  • Strong engineering fundamentals: distributed systems, data modeling and API design.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work asynchronously in a remote team.

Frontend UI/UX Engineer

Location: Remote — Europe-friendly hours

A hybrid designer-engineer role focused on building accessible, performant product interfaces and turning interaction patterns into dependable React experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement production UI components and complete product flows.
  • Create prototypes and design specs (Figma) and convert them into robust React components (Next.js/TypeScript).
  • Build forms, dashboards and workflow interfaces that are accessible and privacy-conscious.
  • Work with product and engineering teams on usability tests, UX metrics and qualitative evaluation.
  • Optimize performance and accessibility for a global audience.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years building front-end applications with React, Next.js and TypeScript.
  • Strong sense of UI/UX, experience with design tools (Figma/Sketch) and design systems.
  • Experience integrating frontend applications with production APIs and complex workflows.
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards, performance optimization and testing.
  • Portfolio with interaction-focused examples (prototypes, component libraries, or shipped experiences).
